Strawberry Icing

 Easy Strawberry Icing

 

I’m going to show you how to make this delicious strawberry icing that’s incredibly simple to make. It’s perfect for your cookies, cupcakes, and cakes. I love it because you can easily make it dairy-free, and it’s free from artificial dyes. It’s the perfect addition to all your favorite desserts. Let’s get started!

 

 

Ingredients
  

  • - 1 cup powdered sugar
  • - 1-2 tablespoons strawberry powder
  • - 1-2 teaspoons plant-based milk coconut milk, almond milk, or any milk of your choice
  • - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Strawberry Powder:
  • - Take freeze-dried strawberries and blend them into a fine powder using a blender or food processor. Measure out 1-2 tablespoons of the strawberry powder. Set aside.
  • Prepare the Icing:
  • - In a mixing bowl, sift the powdered sugar to remove any lumps.
  • - Add the strawberry powder and vanilla extract to the powdered sugar. Stir until the mixture starts to come together.
  • Adjust Consistency:
  • - Gradually add the plant-based milk, one teaspoon at a time, stirring well after each addition. Continue adding milk until you reach your desired consistency. The icing should be smooth and spreadable but not too runny.
  • - If the icing is too thick, add more milk a little at a time until it reaches the right consistency. If it's too thin, add more powdered sugar until it thickens.
