Ingredients
- - 1/2 lb organic ground turkey
- - 1/2 onion finely chopped
- - 2-3 garlic cloves minced
- - 1/2 tsp onion powder
- - 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- - Salt and pepper to taste
- - 1/2 tsp oregano
- - 1 yellow bell pepper diced
- - 1 red bell pepper diced
- -1/2 cup of almond flour
- -1 egg
Instructions
- Prep Your Ingredients: Start by chopping the onion and mincing the garlic. Dice the yellow and red bell peppers.
- Mix It Up: In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, chopped onion, minced garlic, onion powder, egg, almond flour, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and oregano & bell peppers, onions. Mix well until everything is evenly distributed.
- Form the Meatballs: Shape the mixture into small meatballs, about 1-1.5 inches in diameter.
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare the Baking Sheet: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Bake the Meatballs: Place the meatballs on the prepared baking sheet, leaving a little space between each one. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the meatballs are fully cooked and golden brown.
- Add chile verde salsa to give it a kick of spice, you can always omit and add your fave sauce instead
