Chocolate Mexican champurrado

Do you guys want to learn how to make a healthier champurrado???

Champurrado is a warm Mexican atole drink made with delicious ingredients, corn masa, milk, cinnamon, piloncillo, and other ingredients!

I remember growing up, my mother making this delicious drink, pairing it with my mom’s famous tamales recipe early mornings, just brings so many memories of my childhood.

I invite you to try and make this delicious recipe that tastes so close to your favorite traditional recipes just with a nourishing twist! I promise it will be a hit and no one will know it’s healthy.

Ingredients
7 cups almond milk
2 cups of water
Two cinnamon sticks
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt
1/8-1/4 tsp of cayenne pepper (optional, but I feel gives it that kick of deliciousness)
3 Tbsp cacao
1/3 cup maple syrup
1/3 cup coconut sugar
1/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate
1/3 cup tamale corn masa
1/3 cup corn masa flour

Note:make sure you’re always stirring!
If you feel it’s too thick you can always adjust to your liking, same with the sweetner, you can always add more or less but this recipe I feel is so perfect.
