Apple Pie Filling (Gluten Free,Vegan)

Nothing beats making the perfect homemade apple pie filling in just a few minutes, this recipe is so easy that you’ll be making it for days!!
Healthier alternative to your store bought pie filling, made with Wholesome nourishing ingredients that taste like the real thing.

Ingredients

Apple filling
*6 -7 c peeled and thinly sliced apples (I recommend Organic Opal Apples or OG Granny smith)
*1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
*1 c coconut sugar
*3 Tbsp cup gluten free 1-to-1 all-purpose flour blend (I used Bob’s Red Mill)
*1 1/2 Tbsp cinnamon
*1/4 tsp ground ginger
*1/4 tsp turmeric powder
*1/8 tsp pink salt
*1/4 cup Water
*6-7 tbsp vegan butter

Crust, I used a gluten free pre-made

Deats,

1)Combine all on a saucepan, simmer till all is combined and transfer to your homemade crust or a pre-made gluten free crust!

2)Preheat the oven at 350F and bake the pie for about 40-45 mins. It all depends if you’re using a store bought or homemade!
